Brood X Cicadas 2021 Love - sepia edition

I took this picture of a 17 year Periodical Cicadas in Maryland.. they are amazing creatures of this planet and very admirable how they grow inside the soil for 17 years and they come out only for a few weeks to find their love and mate then die.. so after another 17 years time new cicadas born again.. it makes me wonder what they think or feel during that short period of lifetime..
